Welcome to this week’s Online+ Bulletin, where we track new features, performance updates, and standout moments from the decentralized world of Online+, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.
🌐 개요
New year, same MO: execution, execution, execution. With the holiday break behind us, the focus is squarely back to shipping — tightening Tokenized Communities, fixing edge cases, and preparing the next release with a set of targeted improvements across Profile, Feed, Wallet, and Auth.
Progress this week centered on making token-related flows clearer and more reliable. Updates improved how users discover and navigate tokens, how launches are surfaced in the Feed, and how token charts, stats, and reporting behave inside profiles. In parallel, fixes addressed balance accuracy, transaction visibility, editor behavior, and UI consistency — the kind of foundational work that matters most as more users interact with tokenized features day to day.
Looking ahead, the direction remains unchanged. Tokenized Communities continues to be the highest priority, with testing, fixes, and release preparation ongoing. This first bulletin of the year sets the tone for what’s to come in 2026: focused execution, steady progress, and building the core systems needed for the next phase of Online+.

We’re fully focused on Tokenized Communities and preparing the next release, with a strong emphasis on fixes and polish. There’s a lot of detailed work happening behind the scenes, and the goal is simple: make sure everything holds up as expected as we move closer to the next phase.
As the team comes back after the holidays, the pace is lean but mean. Tokenized Communities remain the top priority, and that’s where most of the effort is going right now. It’s early days in 2026, but the direction is clear, and it’s so good to be back and building together.
📚 Extra, Extra — Read All About It!
To kick off 2026 with everyone aligned, the team is sharing a short reading list that reflects the ideas shaping what we’re building and the systems we’re actively pushing back against.
- Enshittification: Why Everything Suddenly Got Worse And What To Do About It by Cory Doctorow — A blunt name (do excuse us for the language) for what happens when platforms optimize for extraction instead of users and creators. It’s a sharp diagnosis of how today’s social platforms break — and exactly the dynamic Online+ is designed to avoid.
- What Happened to the New Internet? by Brian Lehrer — A look back at the Internet’s original promise, and how it drifted into centralization and control. This is the context behind everything we care about: openness, user ownership, and building systems that don’t collapse under their own incentives.
- A short collection of our founder and CEO, Alexandru Iulian Florea’s writing on social platforms, value, and digital sovereignty. This isn’t abstract theory — it’s the thinking we’re actively building from: what’s broken, what we disagree with, and how we’re turning those ideas into real infrastructure.
And yes, Iulian hasn’t had the time to write a book yet. But when he does — and who knows, 2026 might be the year — that’s going straight on the start-of-2027 reading list.
