Welcome to this week’s Online+ Bulletin, where we track new features, performance updates, and standout moments from the decentralized world of Online+, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.
🌐 Tổng quan
This past week was defined by precision. With Tokenized Communities firmly in beta, the focus shifted to fine-combing the feature based on real-world feedback and tightening the last remaining edge cases that surface when a complex system is exercised at scale. Work across Chat, Wallet, Feed, Token Pages, and Profile concentrated on correcting small misbehaviors, aligning UI details, and ensuring consistent behavior across devices, operating systems, and usage scenarios.
Rather than expanding surface area, the emphasis was on reliability and cohesion. Fixes addressed everything from swap input handling and slippage behavior to media playback, notifications, and profile interactions — the kind of details that determine whether a product feels solid under pressure. This is the phase where interconnected elements are stress-tested together, and where confidence is built not through new features, but through stability.
Alongside this deep product work, broader signals continued to line up. We shared updated Online+ usage and engagement figures, reinforcing growing momentum, and the team stayed active beyond the build — including being on the ground at Consensus. Taken together, it’s a week that reflects focus and alignment: strong usage, encouraging beta feedback, and a product that’s clearly coming into its final shape as Tokenized Communities move ever closer to launch.

💬 Nhận định của Yuliia
“Meticulous” best describes our work over the past few days. It’s been all about fine-combing and fine-tuning Tokenized Communities based on beta feedback, and nipping any misbehavior in the bud — limiting any butterfly effect, so to speak. A small bug in the Token Page can affect how things appear in the Feed, which can then trickle down to impact how trades show up in a profile… and from there ripple back into other parts of the app. Everything is connected.
Long story short, we’re dealing with a complex web of interconnected and interdependent elements — and we need to get it just right for Online+ to be the user-friendly, truly all-welcome platform we want it to be.
At this stage, it’s no longer about building new features or even updating existing ones (☝️), but about making sure nothing cracks under pressure or in edge cases. The good news is that beta feedback confirms we’re exactly where we hoped to be: in the final clean-up and edge-case-testing phase. We’ve already worked through the majority of issues raised by testers — and they’ve all been clear, specific, and fixable (if not already fixed). That’s reassuring.
So reassuring, in fact, that we’re now preparing for the next — and likely final — wave of Tokenized Communities testing using the final version of the smart contract. The finest of fine-combing before release. There’s still work to do, of course, but the picture is pretty clear now. We’re very close.
And because we care about all our users equally, we’ve also been working on a new app release — focused specifically on addressing reported issues on iOS — which will be rolling out this week.
📢 Extra, Extra — Read All About It!
While most of the focus this past week was on shipping and fine-tuning Tokenized Communities, don’t think that we’re stuck on dev only. A couple of broader updates are worth calling out:
- Latest Online+ usage figures are out! Our January MAU is up 25% vs December, rivalling established decentralized social media players like Farcaster, and better still — we’ve been getting TikTok-level engagement. The lowdown – here.
- We’re at Consensus. We might be busy building, but we’re not total introverts. If you’re in Hong Kong on February 10-12 and want to discuss what’s coming next for Online+, Tokenized Communities, the ION ecosystem, and how you can join in — get in touch with our ecosystem growth man Bryson, who’s on the ground and happy to chat.
All told, it’s a moment where strong usage meets real readiness: solid engagement, active conversations, and a lot of quiet work bringing what’s next into reach. Onwards.

The focus remains firmly on Tokenized Communities. We’ll be releasing the final version of the smart contract and kicking off the next wave of testing, using everything we’ve learned from beta to validate the feature under real conditions. This is the final phase — where everything is checked, stress-tested, and aligned so Tokenized Communities confidently step into production.
In parallel, a new app update for iOS users is rolling out, addressing the latest batch of reported issues and continuing to refine the overall experience.
The week ahead is all about finishing touches across the stack, with both tracks converging toward the same goal: just-press-the-button–level of launch readiness.
