This past week was about tightening and aligning as work on Tokenized Communities continued at full pace. Updates and fixes landed across Wallet, Feed, Chat, and Profile, improving swap behavior, token navigation, chart accuracy, and overall UI consistency. The emphasis was on smoothing real user flows — from first interactions through to trading and profile views — and eliminating friction across the experience.
Much of the progress centered on the details that matter at scale. Improvements to slippage handling, deeplinking, token stats, and safeguards around official accounts were paired with a broad set of fixes addressing freezes, layout inconsistencies, and navigation issues. Together, these changes strengthen stability and reliability as we move towards launch day for Tokenized Communities.
Looking ahead, the focus remains unchanged. Work continues across the blockchain, backend, and frontend layers to finalize Buy and Sell flows, integrate Tokenized Communities more deeply into the Wallet, and test the full lifecycle from token creation through interaction. Alongside this, preparation is underway for the next production release, bundling fixes and refinements as progress continues.

- Profile → Fixed mention taps in profiles causing navigation loops.
- Profile → Resolved app freezes when switching content language multiple times.

Tokenized Communities continue to be our full focus. Most days (and nights!) right now are spent deep in the details — reviewing flows, testing edge cases, and making sure all the moving parts come together the way we expect them to.
With each day, the experience is becoming more complete and cohesive. We’re still adding important updates and tightening key areas, but the direction is clear and things are moving forward steadily. We’ve been here before — building carefully, pushing when it matters, and shipping when we’re confident it’s ready.
It’s demanding work — Tokenized Communities isn’t just a feature but an entire system — and at this point, the pieces are clearly coming together. We’re entering the final stretch where everything is aligning ahead of the beta release.
🎨 Extra, Extra: Behind the Screens
One group we don’t spotlight nearly enough: the design team. Their work has always been central to how ION is built — because usability isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s what drives adoption.
Tokenized Communities raise the bar in terms of complexity under the hood. The challenge is making all of that feel simple and intuitive on the surface. So this week, we put some questions to our product designers about how that balance is being approached. Here’s a quick recap of their answers:
What’s the biggest challenge of Tokenized Communities from a design standpoint?
Making sure it feels social first. Tokens are part of the experience, but the interface has to lead with people, context, and interaction — otherwise it quickly starts to feel technical and intimidating.
What are you most focused on right now?
Flow. How someone moves naturally from a post to a token, from a token to a profile, and back again without having to think about it. Users shouldn’t need to stop and ask what to do next.
What’s your north star when designing Online+?
That it doesn’t need explaining. If people can just use it without tutorials or instructions, then we’ve done our job.

This week, the focus remains on finalizing Tokenized Communities across the stack. On the blockchain and backend side, the aim is to finalize all tests on the Buy and Sell flows, while frontend work centers on wrapping up the experience and behavior.
In parallel, the team is adding UI fixes, integrating Tokenized Communities into the Wallet, and testing full functionality starting from token creation through to trading and interaction. Alongside this, preparation is underway for the next production release, bringing together fixes and refinements as the feature moves closer to completion.
