Welcome to this week’s Online+ Beta Bulletin — your go-to source for the latest feature updates, bug fixes, and behind-the-scenes tweaks to ION’s flagship social media dApp, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.
As we edge closer to launching Online+, your feedback is helping us shape the platform in real time — so keep it coming! Here’s a quick rundown of what we tackled last week and what’s next on our radar.
🌐 Overview
With a short week leading up to the Easter break, the team doubled down and kept progress steady — delivering a strong round of updates across Wallet, Chat, and Feed without missing a beat.
We added smart pagination to improve performance, rolled out .webp formatting for image uploads, and introduced GIF support — a long-requested feature that’s finally here. On top of that, we made content interactions smoother with features like “Not interested” post filtering and better fallback displays for unavailable media. It’s all about making the app feel faster, friendlier, and more flexible with each release.
With more beta testers onboard and fresh feedback rolling in, we’re entering a sharp fix-and-polish phase that’ll take us right into launch readiness.

💬 Yuliia’s Take
Last week might’ve been a shorter one, but the team stayed perfectly in sync. With the Easter break approaching, everyone pulled together and pushed through to deliver a solid set of improvements. For me, it was one of those moments where I was reminded just how agile and motivated this team really is. The result: we delivered meaningful updates across Wallet, Chat, and Feed as if it’d been a full week.
We also saw a fresh wave of beta testers join recently, bringing in helpful feedback that’s keeping us sharp. The next stretch will be all about tightening things up — refining UX details, boosting stability, and making sure the final product feels as polished as it should before we push it live. (Yes, that moment’s around the corner now.)
We’re in a great rhythm now, and it’s exactly what we need to carry that energy and focus into the week ahead.
📢 Extra, Extra, Read All About It!
Another week, another strong lineup of partners joining the Online+ and ION ecosystem — each bringing new utility and reach to our growing platform:
- AdPod is plugging into Online+ to bring AI-fueled, Web3-native advertising into the fold. Users can expect smarter campaign targeting and creator monetization, all within a decentralized social experience. AdPod will also roll out its own ad-focused community dApp using the ION Framework.
- XDB Chain is on a mission to scale branded digital assets and Web3 identity — and it’s bringing it to Online+. The team will also launch a dedicated dApp on the ION Framework, giving users and brands new ways to connect and build on-chain identities in an interoperable, creator-first environment.
- LetsExchange, already home to ICE trading, is taking its partnership with ION up a notch. The platform will integrate its swap, bridge, and DEX tools into Online+’s social-first environment and launch a dedicated dApp on the ION Framework where users can access swap tools, discover new pairs, and connect with fellow traders. We also hosted a joint AMA with their team last week — check it out!
Each newcomer brings sharper tools, fresh ideas, and stronger network effects — all helping Online+ evolve into the go-to hub for social-powered dApps. In essence – the ION Framework is doing exactly what it was built for.
🔮 The Week Ahead
With the team back at full force and those early infra kinks sorted, we’re diving into a critical stretch of cleanup, testing, and final feature delivery. The week ahead will be focused on sharpening the core — Wallet, Chat, and Profile — while addressing fresh feedback from our expanding beta tester base and continuing to fine-tune performance.
This is where things get exciting. We’re locking in the essentials, smoothing out the edges, and setting the stage for an Online+ experience that truly delivers.
