With the latest version now live and running smoothly, the team’s attention is as much on fine-tuning performance and addressing minor issues flagged by users as it is on pushing ahead with the features that will define the next phase of Online+.
New usability upgrades and UI refinements continued to roll out across modules, alongside dozens of targeted fixes in Wallet, Chat, Feed, and Profile. The result is an app that feels more fluid and reliable with each iteration, as the development rhythm settles into a fast, confident cycle of build → test → release.
With a strong foundation in place, the team is now moving full speed into the future — building Tokenized Communities, Encrypted Groups, and the broader monetization layer that will transform Online+ from a social platform into a thriving on-chain economy. This next phase will bring real, tangible rewards for creators and users, turning participation into value and engagement into impact.
Beyond the app, the ecosystem continues to evolve. The countdown to 1 million on-chain users is officially on, reflecting steady, organic growth across the network. New projects are joining the social layer each week, expanding the reach of Online+ and strengthening its position at the heart of a growing user-owned Internet.

- General → Added translations for nine languages, expanding accessibility for users worldwide.

- Auth → Restored missing animation on splash screen startup.
- Wallet → Resolved flickering issue on the transaction details page after payment.
- Wallet → “NFT is sent” pop-up now displays correctly in full.
- Wallet → Fixed slider layout issues on larger-screen devices.
- Chat → Improved loading speed for search results.
- Chat → Fixed crash occurring after sending videos on MTK processor devices.
- Chat → Resolved delayed message loading on app open — new messages now appear instantly.
- Chat → Adjusted Delete Chat buttons for proper alignment across devices.
- Chat → Restored left-side padding for shared stories in chat.
- Feed → Disabled language editing while editing an existing post.
- Feed → Likes counter now updates accurately in real time.
- Feed → Fixed crash when attempting to post specific video formats.
- Feed → Removed brief “Not interested” post flash before disappearance.
- Feed → Corrected pull-to-refresh logo appearing unintentionally.
- Feed → Restored missing profile pictures in Notifications.
- Feed → Inserted images now appear correctly in the article navigation window.
- Feed → Fixed delayed bulk notifications when device was idle.
- Feed → Corrected link handling when sharing posts.
- Profile → Restored checkbox functionality on affected Android devices.
- Profile → Fixed issue where blocked user lists appeared empty despite showing a counter.
- Profile → Resolved modal opening without avatar.
- Profile → Bookmarks now remain visible after creating a new collection.
- Profile → Corrected mismatched or missing avatars in followers list.
- Profile → Profile pictures in notifications now match the correct user.
- Profile → Restored correct author display for older bookmarked posts.

The public release that came out last week proved stable, which made for a calm, productive, and genuinely satisfying few days. We’ve been fixing the few minor bugs that popped up on the fly, but overall, it’s been smooth sailing. Importantly, that stability has given us the space to move full speed ahead on some of the bigger features we’ve been planning.
Right now, we’re deep into development on Tokenized Communities and Encrypted Groups, two of our most exciting updates yet. Both will play a key role in the next phase of Online+, giving users new ways to connect and creators new ways to build and monetize their communities. Pretty exciting stuff.
Behind the scenes, a lot more is already in motion. New ideas, improvements, and features are taking shape every day – you’ll get to hear all about them soon! All in all, the app feels really solid now, and that means we get to focus on what’s next — the part where it all starts to grow in new directions.

Another eventful week for the ecosystem — from new partnerships to growing visibility and continued expansion across the Online+ network.
- SpaceM joined the Online+ ecosystem, bringing Slovenia’s leading decentralized RWA platform into the social layer. Focused on connecting users, projects, and real-world assets through staking vaults and reward-based participation, SpaceM bridges DeFi and tangible value, shaping a future where digital wealth and everyday finance coexist seamlessly.
- Online+ now counts 997,050 on-chain addresses, up nearly 50% in a month, and only a couple thousand away from the 1 million mark. Growth remains strong and organic, driven by real users and new communities joining every week.
- In an interview with Cointelegraph, our founder and CEO Alexandru Iulian Florea discussed ION’s mission to make blockchain a seamless part of daily life — powering the next generation of apps, products, and platforms without users even realizing what’s under the hood. 🔮 Týždeň pred nami
The focus this week is on continuing development of Tokenized Communities and Encrypted Groups, while preparing the next release packed with fixes and refinements. We’re also keeping an eye out for any small bugs the community flags and squashing them as they come in.
The team’s moving in several directions at once so we can keep the pace — shipping new features every couple of weeks and keeping the experience fresh and evolving.
We also keep obsessively refreshing the ION Explorer these days. We’re just moments away from hitting 1 million on-chain users, and the champagne’s already on standby. It’s going to taste extra good when we get there.
