We officially launched the ION Chain to mainnet last month, marking our first big milestone for 2025. Last year, we grew our community to 40+ million, got our native ICE Coin listed on more than 40 of the world’s top crypto exchanges, and brought a stellar lineup of startups on board. And while we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved to date, this is only the foundation — and a very robust one at that — for what’s to come.

Featuring four core components — ION Identity, ION Vault, ION Connect, and ION Liberty — the ION Framework builds on our blockchain’s unrivaled performance to decentralize every aspect of our digital presence and interactions. Purpose-built to make the creation of user-friendly dApps easy for anyone, it is what makes the ION Chain ready-made for mass adoption.
As we approach the launch of our upcoming Online+ dApp, which showcases the sheer might and potential of the ION Framework and — not least, what apps will look like in the New Internet age — we take a deep dive into each of the components that make up this essential dApp-building tool suite.

Once live, the code behind it — our blueprint for the new-generation apps that will migrate Internet users on-chain — will become freely available to any developer wishing to build on ION. This next big milestone for ION will, we’re certain, be a game-changer for the Web3 space, but by no means the endpoint of our journey to decentralize digital connectivity.
