Welcome to this week’s Online+ Bulletin, where we track new features, performance updates, and standout moments from the decentralized world of Online+, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.
🌐 Overview
This past week marked a clear shift into launch mode. With swaps and the ICE → ION migration entering their final stage, the team focused on readiness across the core of Online+ — testing a new production build, validating migration flows, and tightening Wallet behavior ahead of a critical release. As December 17 approaches, the priority is clear: ensure stability, transparency, and a smooth path for users preparing to migrate.
Alongside the migration work, the team continued strengthening the day-to-day experience across the app. Updates and fixes landed across Wallet, Feed, Chat, Profile, and Security, addressing swap behavior, balance visibility, editor reliability, media handling, navigation, and account protection. Many of these changes are incremental by design, but together they reduce friction and help ensure Online+ is ready for increased usage as new functionality goes live.
Beyond internal execution, the week was also about alignment and communication. Clear guidance was shared around migration timelines and exchange halts, alongside resolved paths for users in India following coordination with CoinDCX and SunCrypto.
At the same time, we shared more details around what comes next: Tokenized Communities continued to take shape ahead of their launch on BNB Chain, PUMPit was revealed as an extension of those mechanics to X, and community conversations carried on through live AMAs — including the upcoming Cointelegraph session.
From migration to swaps to what follows, the focus these past few days was on making sure both the product and the community are ready for what’s landing next. We’ll see you all on Online+ as it comes together.

💬 Yuliia’s Take
This week has been heavy — in the very real sense of long days, late nights, and carrying the weight of what’s about to go live. Swaps and the ICE → ION migration are the absolute priority right now, and we’re already testing the new production build that will soon be in users’ hands. The public launch is this Wednesday, and every hour is about focus, checks, and making sure things work the way they should.
At the same time, work on Tokenized Communities hasn’t stopped. It’s the next big feature, and even with swaps taking center stage, the team is pushing it forward in parallel. There’s pressure in that, but also clarity — we know what we’re building and why it matters.
It’s intense, and it’s exhausting, but there’s also a quiet excitement in seeing something this significant come together. We’re powering through, staying disciplined, and getting ready to ship.
🚦 Extra, Extra, Read All About It!
A lot happened around migration, Tokenized Communities, and what’s coming next over the past week. Before we hit launch day — the lowdown.
- The ICE → ION migration is now in its final stage. What you absolutely must know is that:
- ⚠️ Most exchanges will halt $ICE trading between 06:00–10:00 UTC on December 16, so any $ICE you intend to migrate should be moved to Online+ before then.
- 🚀 December 17 is the Big Day: Swaps launch on Online+, and with them the ICE → ION bridge enabling the migration.
- 🇮🇳 CoinDCX and SunCrypto will now support the migration — problem solved for our Indian community!
- ❓ Unsure about anything? Refer to our migration guide, or hear all about it in our December 14 migration AMA.
- 👋 See you on Online+!
- The next major piece coming into focus is Tokenized Communities, and the big news is that it’s launching on BNB Chain. The mechanic: profiles and posts become tokens on a bonding curve and graduate to PancakeSwap as communities grow.
- Even bigger, newer news: our Chrome extension PUMPit is also launching on BNB Chain to give you yet another surface to launch, trade, and track tokens — directly on X! Extending our Tokenized Communities mechanics to X, tokens created PUMPit will be automatically tradeable on Online+, and Online+ native tokens will, likewise, be tradeable via PUMPit. One mechanic – double the fun.
- We’re celebrating launch day with the Cointelegraph AMA you’ve all been waiting for is finally coming this Wednesday, December 17 at 5 PM EST. Our founder and CEO Alexandru Iulian Florea (a.k.a. Zeus, as most of you know him) will be live to cover the migration, swaps, and what’s coming next — mark your calendars!
From migration to swaps to what comes next, this week marks a real turning point — stay close for the rollout and live updates.
🔮 The Week Ahead
This week, we’re rolling out what we’ve been calling the big release internally — the update that enables the ICE → ION migration and brings swaps fully into the app. The main course is clear, but there are also a few important side dishes in this version. They may be less visible, but they matter: a broad set of quality-of-life fixes across the text editor, chat, feed, and profile, all focused on stability and making everyday use feel smoother as more users come on board.
In parallel, work on monetization continues — the features native to Online+, but also PUMPit, as an extension to our tokenization mechanics. These remain a key focus as we move closer to release, with the team pushing forward to get them ready for users as soon as possible. No rest for the wicked, as they say.
