As we approach the final distribution milestone on February 28th, we are pleased to share comprehensive details regarding this significant event. This distribution represents the culmination of Phase 1 of the Ice project and signifies an important step forward in our journey towards decentralization and community empowerment.
The distribution will commence promptly at 8 AM UTC on February 28th, ensuring fairness and transparency for all participants. Eligible users for this distribution are those who have completed the KYC process, passed the quiz, and have set their BNB Smart Chain addresses.
Participants will receive ICE coins equivalent to their available balance, which includes both mined coins and those earned from their referrals who meet the eligibility criteria. Notably, 30% of this distribution will be allocated to the mainnet rewards pool, strategically locked for five years to incentivize creators, nodes, and validators.
For users who have fulfilled the KYC and quiz requirements but have neglected to add their BNB Smart Chain address before the distribution deadline, their coins will be allocated to the mainnet rewards pool.
Later in the distribution day, we will release the final breakdown of Ice coins allocated to each pool, providing transparency and insight into the distribution process. This breakdown will offer participants a comprehensive understanding of how their contributions have contributed to the growth and development of the Ice network.
To ensure the integrity and security of the distribution process, we will leverage the UNCX Network (formerly UniCrypt) for the locking and vesting period of the allocated pools. This decision underscores our commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable ecosystem for all participants.
