Welcome to this week’s Online+ Bulletin, where we track new features, performance updates, and standout moments from the decentralized world of Online+, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.

This past week centered on tightening the current Online+ experience while pushing forward on the bigger features powering the next major release. A fresh build went live in the app stores, bringing smoother performance across posts, articles, and stories, along with refinements to keyboard behavior, UI details, and video handling. Alongside that, targeted fixes across Auth, Wallet, Chat, Feed, and Profile resolved a range of issues — from missing creator verification during onboarding, to lagging follower lists, broken QR scans, and Feed placeholders on new devices.
While these improvements continued to strengthen day-to-day usability, most of the team has now shifted into full focus on long-term development. Monetization features — Ads, Boosts, Swaps & Bridges — are moving quickly toward beta testing, with work also progressing across Tokenized Communities, Switch Accounts, Delegate Access, and other major upgrades that will shape the next evolution of Online+. These features are large in scope, so they’re being rolled out to testers in phases to keep feedback cycles clean and development efficient.
Looking ahead, this week brings another production release, with more fixes and several new improvements: pay-via-profile network visibility in Wallet, deletion of specific search queries, updated post editor behavior, an additional round of lag-reduction improvements, forced backups for all accounts, and dozens of smaller refinements across modules. In parallel, internal testing begins on the monetization features, alongside continued stabilization of Tokenized Communities.
With another release going out and major features moving steadily toward beta, Online+ is entering a phase of fast iteration and focused building. The groundwork is set — now we’re shaping what comes next.

This past week really felt like the start of a new chapter. Most of the team is now deep into the long-term features — wrapping up the last pieces of monetization, refining Ads, and pushing ahead on Swaps and Bridging. These are big building blocks, and we’ve decided to roll them out to our beta testers in phases. It lets us move fast without overwhelming the team or the testers, and gives us room to polish each part properly before it reaches everyone.
At the same time, we’re still improving the app here and there, tightening details, and shipping new versions faster than before — that’s so much easier now that we’re working on top of a really strong base. The new build we pushed to the stores last week focused on stability and smoothness, refining the things people touch every day while the bigger features continue taking shape in the background.
Now that the groundwork is in place, December is going to be packed with completely new features we’ve been itching to build for months. It’s exciting to see the product moving towards its next big iteration, and not just running reliably, but genuinely evolving. The team is moving in sync, so the path to that next goal feels clear. We’re building with real confidence now.
🎄 Extra, Extra — Wishlist Edition
This week, we’re doing something a little different. With Christmas around the corner — and a lot of new features already in motion — we’re handing the mic to you.
A few days ago, a community member asked for an “Artist” category to be added to profiles… and honestly, we loved it. So let’s run with that energy:
What “extras” are on your Online+ wishlist?
Small things, realistic things — quality-of-life upgrades, UI tweaks, little features that would make your day-to-day experience smoother, faster, or more fun.
Drop your ideas in the comments under this week’s bulletin posts on Online+ and X. The team is reading everything, and December is the perfect month for surprises. 🎁

This week is all about getting yet another version ready for release. This next build brings another round of fixes along with a handful of new upgrades across the app. You’ll see updates like paying via a profile’s available networks in the wallet, the ability to delete specific search requests, an improved editor for posts, better keyboard behavior, another round of lag and freeze fixes, forced backups for all accounts, and many refinements across Chat, Feed, and Profile.
In parallel, we’re kicking off internal testing for the monetization features. That means fixing issues as they come in, stabilizing Tokenized Communities, and making sure everything we’ve built so far behaves exactly the way it should. Step by step, we’re moving closer to the release window, and this week is a big part of getting it all into final shape.
