Welcome to this week’s Online+ Beta Bulletin — your go-to source for the latest feature updates, bug fixes, and behind-the-scenes tweaks to ION’s flagship social media dApp, brought to you by ION’s Product Lead, Yuliia.
As we edge closer to launching Online+, your feedback is helping us shape the platform in real time — so keep it coming! Here’s a quick rundown of what we tackled last week and what’s next on our radar.
🌐 Overview
Before we dive into the details — it’s been a solid, satisfying, steady week of progress here at Online+ HQ.
With most core functionality in place, we’ve shifted into stabilization mode: refining Wallet flows, putting the finishing touches on Chat, and smoothing out post and article interactions in the Feed.
We also rolled out a batch of quality-of-life improvements — like article editing, force updates, and better media display in Chat — along with performance tuning that’s already helped slim down our Android build.
As Easter weekend approaches, the team’s making a strong pre-holiday push to knock out final Chat features, polish tricky bits like username uniqueness, and keep performance trending in the right direction.

💬 Yuliia’s Take
There’s something especially rewarding about the kind of week we just had — not full of fanfare, but packed with progress.
We smoothed out key Wallet flows, polished up media layouts in Chat, and made the overall experience feel cleaner and more connected across the board. We also delivered some long-awaited features, like article editing and post refresh, that make Online+ feel more complete with every update.
These are the moments that quietly level up the product — where everything clicks a little better, looks a little sharper, and just works the way it should. The team’s in the zone, and we’re all feeling the momentum. Easter break is coming, but first: one more extra-strong push to keep Online+ moving in the right direction.
📢 Extra, Extra, Read All About It!
Partnerships keep on booming 🥁
We had three fresh faces joining the Online+ and Ice Open Network ecosystem last week — and they’re bringing the heat:
- HyperGPT is building an AI-powered dApp on the ION Framework that fuses large language models with blockchain to level up content, automation, and decentralization. That’s, of course, on top of its Online+ integration.
- Aark will drop 1000x leverage and gasless perpetual trading directly into Online+. It’ll also launch a hub for its trading community on the ION Framework, making high-octane DeFi trading faster, easier, and more social.
- XO is going for a blend of fun and function with a gamified social dApp that makes connecting in Web3 more interactive, immersive, and just plain cool.
And we’re just getting warmed up. With 60+ Web3 projects and 600 creators from all corners of the ecosystem already on board, Online+ is fast becoming the go-to social hub for everything happening in Web3.
Oh, and ICYMI: with each new integration, the ICE economy grows stronger — more dApps, more users, more utility, and more ICE burned. Curious? Here’s how.
🔮 The Week Ahead
This week, we’re shifting gears into stabilization mode. Our focus is on fine-tuning Wallet flows to ensure they pass testing and work exactly as intended. Over in Chat, we’ll be closing out the last core features — getting everything ready for prime time.
We’re also tackling a few complex but important additions, like introducing unique usernames so everyone can truly own their identity in-app. Plus, some performance enhancements are on the way to keep things running fast and smooth.
With Easter weekend approaching for much of the team, we’re putting in the extra effort upfront to tick off as much as we can — staying focused, staying on schedule, and making space for a well-earned break.
On that note, next week’s edition of the Online+ Beta Bulletin will drop on Tuesday, April 22 — us product leads occasionally take a break too 🌴
