Beyond creating decentralized services and securing The Open Network, CAT validates several blockchains, including Cosmos (Minter) and Ethereum, which process millions of transactions daily. Now, they have also integrated with Ice Open Network, further strengthening their role in supporting decentralized ecosystems and enhancing blockchain accessibility.

Securing ION with CAT’s Validator
Our mainnet launch is around the corner and CAT is actively involved by operating a validator node. With 15% of the total ICE circulating supply staked, CAT is contributing to the security and decentralization of the network, and helping us maintain its integrity and resilience. Not least, this move underscores their commitment to the ION ecosystem’s stability and growth and testifies to the strategic nature of our partnership, which will continue to evolve as we bring more and more users on-chain.
Maintaining ION’s Blockchain Explorer
As part of our partnership with CAT, the ION Explorer, recognized as our official blockchain explorer, will now be powered and maintained by CAT, ensuring a seamless and robust experience for users. This integration will provide both ION and CAT community members with a powerful, user-friendly, and transparency-enhancing tool for exploring blockchain data, strengthening accessibility and insight into the ION ecosystem.
Liquid Staking on ION
CAT’s liquid staking dApp for The Open Network, Stakee, will soon launch on ION, enabling ICE token holders to stake their assets and earn rewards. Stakee is set to simplify the staking process and unlock new opportunities for ION’s growing community of users.
