⚠️ The Ice Network mining has ended.

We are now focusing on the mainnet, set to launch in October 2024. Stay tuned!

You can trade Ice on OKX, KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC, Bitget, Bitmart, Poloniex, BingX, Bitrue, PancakeSwap, and Uniswap.

What is Ice and how does it work?

Ice is a new digital currency that you can mine (or earn) from any mobile device.

Ice network is based on a community of trust delivered by a growing number of users who want to prove that digital currencies retain value and can be used in various use cases.

Users can join the Ice network via an invitation from an existing member to start earning & building their own micro-communities right away.

How is Ice earned?

To start earning Ice, you need to check in every 24 hours by tapping the Ice button to begin your daily mining session.

Mining together with your friends can boost the mining (earning) rate for you and your team.

For each friend that checks in at the same time as you, you both receive a 25% bonus on your mining (earning) rate.

The base mining (earning) rate starts from 16 Ice/h and is reduced by half (goes through a halving event) when it reaches the first milestone. Read more about halving.

Who can join Ice?

Anyone from anywhere in the world with an Android or iOS device can join Ice.

The verification process (KYC – Know Your Customer) requires the user to have a valid national ID at the moment they claim the Ice coins.

If you don’t have yet a valid national ID, you can still mine (earn) Ice and claim the coins when your ID is issued.

Is it possible to engage in mining on multiple devices?

You can only have one registered device per person at a time.

If at the verification process (KYC – Know Your Customer) we identify more than one registered device for the same identity, only the first registered device will be taken in consideration, while the other accounts will be locked.

What can I do with Ice?

Phase 1 (July 7th, 2023 – October 7th, 2024) is dedicated to accumulation, where the Ice members will grow their micro-communities and mine (earn) Ice coins that they can use starting with next phase.

At Ice, we’re committed to delivering value and utility for our community. In Phase 1 of our project, we will announce several use cases and decentralized applications (dApps) that will fully integrate with Ice. These use cases and dApps will offer real-world applications for our community members and help to drive the adoption of our coin.

In Phase 2 (from October 7th, 2024) the Mainnet will be released and the members will be able to use Ice for sending, receiving, exchanging, or making payments.

More than that, we are developing solutions for merchants to integrate and accept Ice into their retails stores and e-commerce shops.

More use cases are in development right now and will be announced during Phase 1.

Does Ice have any value?

Ice will receive its market value when Phase 1 will be finalized and the coin will be listed on exchanges, on Phase 2.

Is Ice a scam?

Ice is a very serious project with a team of over 20 senior engineers, sociologists and economists that have been working on since January 2022.

Our team’s work can be seen on GitHub in a very transparent approach.

So far, we have invested a considerable amount of money developing and hiring qualified senior professionals.

Our commitment to the community is to continue developing all the components of the ecosystem that will sustain and give value to the project.

How does Ice prevents fake accounts?

We have signed a partnership with Appdome, a leading security company that protects our app from threats, attacks, mobile fraud, security breaches, mobile malware, cheating and other attacks with ease.

Rest assured, we do not accept fake accounts, bots or any other threats that can interfere with the regular behavior of the app.

What are the major differences between Ice, Pi and Bee?

The main difference between the three projects is the governance model.

Ice from the outset establishes a governance model where all users have the decision power in the direction the network evolves, where validators will have distributed voting power, thus avoiding concentration in the hands of a few large validators. Find out more here.

Ice brings several new elements such as Tap in AdvanceSlashingDay OffResurrectionExtra Bonuses based on activity and many other new features.

Ice puts emphasis on building micro-communities and therefore rewards not only mining simultaneously with those you have invited into the network but also mining simultaneously with your friends’ friends, i.e. Tier 2 users. Find out more here.

How can I invite my friends?

Once you register an account on Ice, you will receive your own referral code and you will be able to start inviting your friends directly from the app.

On the team screen you will be able to sync your contacts, see who is already on Ice, who you can invite, and manage your Tier 1 and Tier 2 micro-community members.

Ice is better with friends! Be the first one who offer them this opportunity and earn together more and more Ice.

How many Ice will I earn in the next mining session?

Depending on the number of your invited friends that are mining simultaneously with you, or the additional bonuses you get, the earnings are calculated each hour and can be seen on the home screen of the app.

However, you can make an estimate if you access the Profile screen where you will find the Mining Calculator.

What happens if a bonus is awarded before the 24-hour validity period of the previous bonus expires?

If a new bonus is granted before the expiration of the previous bonus’s 24-hour validity period, and the user claims it, the previous bonus will be reset and the new bonus will begin its 24-hour validity period.

What happens if I change my phone?

If you change your phone, you have to download the Ice app again and log in to your new device using the email or phone number you registered previously.

Why is the mining rate reduced periodically?

To ensure the stability of the Ice network, we need to reduce the supply of Ice (known as “halving”) to maintain the balance between supply and demand. By reducing the supply of Ice coins, the network can maintain its scarcity and secure the value of Ice held by our users, including yourself.

As an example, halving is a common action that occurs every four years with Bitcoin, and the price of Bitcoin actually increases with each halving. In short, reducing the supply of Ice protects the value of Ice.

Ice rewards users for their trust in the project, especially those who joined when the project was in an earlier stage.

Does mining require to keep the app open all the time?

No, mining does not require keeping the app open. Mining doesn’t consume any of your phone’s resources, data or processing capacity, it doesn’t even drain your battery. Simply open the app every day and check-in to start a new mining session.

The Tap in Advance feature helps you to not lose your check-in (mining) sessions streak.

Why should I keep my push notifications active?

By keeping your push or email notifications active, you will be able to receive our periodic daily bonuses.

On the days when bonuses are given, between 10:00 – 20:00 you will receive a push notification or email and you’ll have to immediately claim the bonus.

If you do it within the first 15 minutes of the notification you will get the full bonus, and if you claim the bonus in the second quarter of an hour you will get 75% of the bonus. As time passes, after 30 minutes you will only receive 50% of the bonus, and after 45 minutes you will only receive 25% of the bonus.

The Day Bonus is available to be claimed only within 60 minutes after the notification.

Stay tuned and benefit from all bonuses given to our active and engaged users!

What is the total supply of Ice coins?

The total supply of the Ice coins is based on multiple factors like total registered users, online miners, halving events, and bonuses and thus it cannot be known for the moment until Phase 1 does not end.
